Love Hurts
How love hurts and several quotes from well known authors regarding how much pain a feeling of love can cause.Love
is great when it is fresh and happening and when you feel it slipping
away, both the times love makes us feel there is nothing like love in
our life. Though love gives a certain high at the time when both of you
are feeling the same things, there is nothing more painful that your
love going away.
Love hurts so much that at times it leaves you in
depth of sadness which is certainly larger than the high of happiness
it gave you. A breakup is the thing about love, a reason that prompts
many to avoid being in love. Many simply ignore the realization that
they are in love because they dread the time when this feeling will wear
itself off and the remains of love will be torn to shred by arguments
and fights and usual drifting away.
Many famous people have fallen
in love again and again only to grow apart and feel the sadness that
love tends to give after it goes away. There are very less numbers of
people who have not experienced love and almost all who have experienced
love have experienced the heartbreak that follows love, bar a few lucky
ones. Many writers have expressed their feelings about how love hurts
in most apt way and that is through quotes.

As
famous poet and writer Oscar Wilde puts it, “when one is in love, one
always begins by deceiving oneself, and one always ends by deceiving
others, that is what the world calls romance.” Love is blind and has
been proven more than one time, often couples in love do not see stark
differences that are obvious to others in their personality. Love often
makes people do things and act in certain ways, that are surprising to
others as well as themselves, heart wants to love whether or not brains
allows it, therefore, rational decision making rarely takes place when
people are in love.
There are quotes made by other famous literary
giants like William Shakespeare who wrote “The courses of true love
never did run smooth!” this happens to be true too, most passionate love
affairs have ended up rather tragically, with either the couple
breaking up with some one causing the breakup or one among the couple
passing away. Whenever there is true love there is no dearth of troubles
coming its way.
There is another quote from an anonymous author
who quotes, “Why is it always that we don’t know when love happens, and
we always know the moment it ends?” True some people though they do
recognize the feeling of love, and they know that they are in love tend
to ignore it to the extent they can. It is mere fear of the break up and
the denial that love cannot happen to them makes them react in such a
way to love, however whenever love has ended we accept it and face it
faster than we recognized it.
End of love means end of the world
for some, where people are unable to comes to terms with the end in
relationship often get depressed and are more likely to try drastic
methods since they cannot stand the pain end of relationship brings
together. There is a proverb that proves love to be a truthful thing it
is “where there is love there is pain”. Love can bring up pain in
different forms not just through break up.
Love gives pain
whenever your beloved is in pain or suffering. Love ensures that you
will suffer as much or maybe more when your beloved is suffering just
because you cannot do anything to ease out the pain and the emotional
turbulence your beloved is going through.
Another quote by William
Shakespeare proves how difficult it can be to comes to terms with a
breakup, he quotes “Love is a smoke made with the fumes of sighs.” This
quote speaks so much about feeling of losing out on something precious
that a breakup tends to bring. No wonder people who have been through
this feeling sigh away their sadness.
All pain that there is in
love is given all the more aptly by George Granville, who writes “Of all
pains, the greatest pain, is to love, and to love in vain.” Whenever
feelings of love are not reciprocated or the relationship that one
values so much is not valued equally by the partner, definitely the
feeling of loving in vain would come. The feeling of not being esteemed
as much as you esteemed another person will surely cause pain.
Love
hurts through different ways, you can be in love and with the one you
love and still be hurt, or a breakup in a relationship can hurt. It does
not take a long time to end a relationship, but it surely takes a
lifetime to forget someone you once loved so dearly.

My Crazy (wise, sweet, funny) Head And My ♥!!!
At times this crazy head of mine has all these crazy ideas cropping up! Without having a second thought, giving a second thought to the sprouting thoughts I just go ahead and say things which I shouldn't, things which I should keep to myself.
Sometimes such thoughts of mine are important ones but other times just some silly wild crazy kiddish, babyish thoughts. Then it has me wondering why and from where such thoughts germinate and get its roots and as a counter response the very same crazy head 'o mine says because of 'this n that', 'such n such', blah blah blah and tries to get a connection, a link to such cropped up thoughts!
The 'crazy head 'o mine is definitely the boss most of the times but when my ♥ is given a chance to think it takes the power from the 'crazy head 'o mine' and generates even crazier (more) thoughts! When my ♥ takes rein from the head you can expect not-thought of thoughts! This heart brings forth tears, huge ones!!!
That time I crave for my crazy head and hope and wish so bad it take its position 'being the ever crazier boss' because though crazy it stops my tears and saves me from 'those puffy eyes'. But I tell you, if my head gives even a little attention to my ♥ it becomes stubborn and wants to be the leader. My head then is taken for a ride, roller-coaster ride!
One time my ♥ makes itself in-sync with my 'crazy head', make my head rule (my head smiles then) for a bit but that is my ♥'s tactic. It ever wants to stay and lead my head. Ofcourse my ♥ isn't bad. It is the best when given its own space.
It shows the loveable side of me. I look happy and may be a little pretty too! (smiles) :) But uh-uh my ♥ should be secondary. If I let my ♥ lead than I would become fragile (which I don't want to be).
I was strong, am strong and wants to be strong with my heart following my 'crazy (sometimes wise) head silently and ruling may be as and when really needed by my crazy (sometimes sweet) head. That time my head (sometimes funny) and my lovely ♥ is in perfect sync (as if made for each other)...sigh love love love...BIG TIME, mwah!
I can go on and on with thoughts from my head and my ♥ but would love to end it when (now) on a sweet note!
So from my crazy head and my ♥ Love, Hugs and Kisses ...
Adieus!!!

"Broken Heart"

"I will never forget the days we once had
The days when you were everything to me
My mind used to tell me we'd be together forever
But now I realize that was all a big dream
The feelings I have for you will never go
I wish I could take back that one regretful day
The day when I willingly let you slide from my arms
Never did I think of the astonishing pain of regrets
That I would once have to live through
The sight of you in someone else's arms
Makes my heart shatter into a million pieces
I sometimes wonder if you still think of me
Or if to you, I'm just a face in the crowd
I wish so very much that one day we can have it all back
But for now, I'll sit here silently
Remembering all the memories we once shared
Everyday my love grows much stronger
Hoping that one day you will feel the same
And put back the pieces of my broken heart."

Want to close my eyes, take a leap of faith

feeding on hatred of mortal's life

The practice of compassion begins at home. We have our parents, our children, and our brothers and sisters, who perhaps irritate us the most, and we begin our practice of loving-kindness and compassion with them. Then gradually we extend our compassion out into our greater community, our country, neighbouring countries, the world, and finally to all sentient beings equally without exception.
Extending compassion in this way makes it evident that it is not very easy to instantly have compassion for "all sentient beings." Theoretically it may be comfortable to have compassion for "all sentient beings," but through our practice we realize that "all sentient beings" is a collection of individuals. When we actually try to generate compassion for each and every individual, it becomes much more challenging. But if we cannot work with one individual, then how can we work with all sentient beings? Therefore it is important for us to reflect more practically, to work with compassion for individuals and then extend that compassion further.
Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche
Parting from the Four Attachments
"Buddha said in the Prajnaparamita Sutra, that the bodhisattvas should never abandon the dharma. By this he meant that if a bodhisattva were to think, 'Oh, this person is only teaching the Shravakayana, that person is teaching only the Pratyekabuddhayana,' then even that can be considered as abandoning the dharma, which is one of the most hideous nonvirtuous actions. Thinking in this way means you have developed an attitude, considering Mahayana as the supreme and all the other vehicles as lesser. An ecumenical or nonsectarian attitude to the teachings of the Buddha is so much required—especially if you are practicing the Mahayana path."
Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche
'The Compassionate Life'

Compassion without attachment is possible. Therefore, we need to clarify the distinctions between compassion and attachment. True compassion is not just an emotional response but a firm commitment founded on reason. Because of this firm foundation, a truly compassionate attitude toward others does not change even if they behave negatively. Genuine compassion is based not on our own projections and expectations, but rather on the needs of the other: irrespective of whether another person is a close friend or an enemy, as long as that person wishes for peace and happiness and wishes to overcome suffering, then on that basis we develop genuine concern for their problem. This is genuine compassion.
For a Buddhist practitioner, the goal is to develop this genuine compassion, this genuine wish for the well-being of another, in fact for every living being throughout the universe.
